Photographer's Note

Montmartre bird view...
Montmartre is the highest hill in Paris and one of the most characteristic quarters of the French capital city. It always attracts tons of tourists and it was here that the French movie "Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amlie Poulain" by J.P. Jeunet was staged.
This is a scan of a b/w negative, probably a Kodak T-max judging by the dark tones (but I am not sure).
If I had been a better photographer at that time, I would have moved to the right to show also the street lamps as part of the composition. Instead I was obsessed with lines and symmetry and didn't.
well, we're all here to learn, aren't we?
