Photographer's Note
Montmartre bird view...
Montmartre is the highest hill in Paris and one of the most characteristic quarters of the French capital city. It always attracts tons of tourists and it was here that the French movie "Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain" by J.P. Jeunet was staged.
This is a scan of a b/w negative, probably a Kodak T-max judging by the dark tones (but I am not sure).
If I had been a better photographer at that time, I would have moved to the right to show also the street lamps as part of the composition. Instead I was obsessed with lines and symmetry and didn't.
well, we're all here to learn, aren't we?

beh...forse hai ragione...la fila di lampioni in discesa avrebbe aggiunto profondità...però la composizione funziona lo stesso ed a me piace

Bella visione verticale, profonda, infinita.
Io questo luogo l'ho visto così; una foto nella quale credevo molto e ho raccolto niente. La tua è più stilosa.

belle photo de ces escaliers qui descendent au loin, on n' en voit pas la fin.
Avec ces différents paliers, ces bronses, rambardes, lampadères, ces arbres, le tout forme une excellente vue que je suis content d' avoir visionner.
