Construite du XIIиme au XVиme siиcle, l'abbatiale fut йrigйe sous l'impulsion des Antonins, un ordre hospitalier de moines mйdecins qui rayonna sur toute l'Europe pendant le Moyen Age, autour des reliques d'Antoine l'Egyptien.

Built from the XIIth to the fifteenth century, the abbey was erected at the instigation of Antonine hospital order of monks doctors who shone throughout Europe during the Middle Ages, around the relics of Anthony the Egyptian.

C'est l'endroit idйal oщ aprиs avoir payй les droits d'entrйe nous permet de voyager sans trop de frais et surtout d'apprйcier des bвtiments magnifiques tout en se penchant au lieu de se tordre le cou.

Hello Philippe,
This is a beautiful abbey and a very attractive photo. From this high perspective you make it look like a model in a museum, but the small people on the ground show us the real dimensions. There are many fantastic architectural details and a beautiful garden surrounding the buildings. The light and colours are excellent.

this abbey is very large and impressive, it's very old and must have a very long and interesting history. I like very much your composition, that includes the adjacent buildings, a rewarding part of the surrounding scenery and space both in front of the church and at its back. Details and colours are superb, the setting looks like real. The tiny people and their shadows offer us scale. Congratulations and thank you!

Trиs belle colorй, ce qui donne beaucoup d'appel а l'image.
