Photographer's Note

Sight the heights of the holy mount Michel since the interior streets. There he like appeared, from nothing, come from nothing… ;) They are the new illuminations of the Mount, installation at the beginning of 2006. They represent the assension towards the arrow, towards the church and Saint Michel (gold statue in top of the arrow), in the form of 3 colors blades. A clear yellow for bottom, yellow blade for the medium and white (very very white) for the top. The more one goes towards the sky, the more the light is white.
Here, one sees only the intermediate part, the buttresses of the church and the cloitre.
The color of the spots is much clearer than before, which gives a very gray aspect to the beautiful stone of the Mount. Each one its tastes, but I do not find vaiment that Ca emphasizes it.
Let us admit that art has a significance…

What a super angle to have used for this shot. Not being an expert, I am wondering how it would have turned out if it had been taken with a smaller aperture and a longer time. Maybe it would have given a bit more detail on the stone work of the castle which is quite washed out. Othewise a lovely shot,

Good point of view, it's impressive. What a pity some part of the façade is overexposed. Nevestheless a great shot!
