Photographer's Note

It's a view from the platform of the cathedral of Strasbourg (66 m high, 338 steps to climb). You can see the roofs of old houses. All the centre of the city (called "Grande Ile")is become UNESCO World Heritage in 1988. It's a very historical city, so it is really interesting to visit it.

Vue de la plate-forme de la cathйdrale de Strasbourg (66 m de haut, 338 marches). On y voit les toits d'anciennes maisons. Tout le centre de la ville est devenu patrimoine mondial de l'Unesco en 1988. C'est une ville trиs historique et donc trиs intйressante.

A very intriguing view of these lovely old houses with their steep pitched roofs and a glimpse of the market. Fine detail and pleasing tones.
