L'йglise abbatiale St Paul йtait l'йglise principale de l'Abbaye royale, fondйe par Clovis au Ve siиcle. Cette derniиre conserve quelques traces de l’йpoque carolingienne au niveau du soubassement du clocher et de la rotonde octogonale du transept. La nef est couverte d'un berceau de bois. Par ailleurs, celle-ci a йtй consacrйe par le pape Alexandre III en 1163. Le clocher et le chњur datent du XIIIe siиcle. Les vitraux de l’abside datent de la fin du XVe siиcle et du dйbut du XVIe siиcle, commandйs par Louis de Blanchefort ou son successeur Pierre de Martigny.

Philippe, that church belonged to the royal abbey. The old stonework looks in good condition. Its facade is magnificent. Fine colors, good sharpness, amitiй.
