Photographer's Note
The Kesälahti-series continues. Taken at the same place as the "Benches" shot, but this one is taken with the camera horizontally, obviously. Sepia-toning in this one too, and playing around with layer blending modes to create the mood. Hope you like it.

When I look at the photo I'm overwelmed by complete silence and peacefulness. Solitude? Yes, perhaps that too. Still, I'm drawn to this place- to this image...it's wonderful.

Jetty in these setting are superb subject IMO, and you'e casught this one very nicely, with a good PoV, and an off centre point foo focus. Not sure about the PP though.

This is beautiful!!! I like the sepia tones you were able to create in the post processing. The water is so crystal clear -- looks like a lovely place to go for a quick dip during a sauna.

Great composition and use of light here Paavo. I love the sepia tones and the jetty extending from the left corner. I would be interesting to see the original as a comparison...maybe you could post it as a workshop.

Amazing intensity! How do you obtain that?? I cannot tell! It's a really great job, although i can't help feeling a little trapped inthis picture too.. I think it would have be nicer t see more lake and more sky.. Though it's a great composition! Best regards, Leo

Elle est splendide cette photo !!
J'aime particulièrement les couleurs, les ombres, les détails du ponton et ces deux petits bancs en bout de ponton !
