Photographer's Note

A shot of the department store chain Magasin du Nord's flagship store on Kongens Nytorv, taken at blue hour. It was built in 1893 in obvious French Reanaissance style, on the site of the former Hotel du Nord, where Hans Christian Andersen had boarded from 1838 until 1847.

Hello Chris,
There are lots of well captured lights on the faзade and in front of the building. They enhance the atmosphere created by the blue hour. This could indeed have been a French palace.

Hello Chris,

This is a fine blue hour shot, the blue tones of the sky making a very attractive backcloth against which to exhibit the department store.
This is a very elegant building for a department store, resembling something much grander!
The artificial lights highlight the lovely, symmetrical appearance of the building.

Bonjour Chris,

Les ligne blanches sont des atouts а la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les dйtails du magasin du Nord. La lumiиre de l'heure bleue a un effet spйcial sur les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journйe.

This building looks more as a palace than a department store house.
A well done night/blue-hour shot. Picture is clear and distinct in contrast from the illuminated parts.
