This stunning place looks like a looking through a kaleidoscope. It is a wetland at the point where water of a 16th century canal built for feeding a large pond system overflows into the woods.

This is an original photo where me eyes need some adjustment to find their way. The tight crop enhances the interesting pattern created by the trees and the fine light. You spotted the opportunity well and handled it nicely.

It is quite abstract, and yet we know that this is all real.
