ÔÎÒÎÃÐÀÔÈÈ

We will continue our tour of Nové Město nad Metují in České legií Street. There we can see a town house called Villarsburg's. It is a two-storey detached late Baroque house. The extension of the courtyard dates from 1895. It was a suburban house for the administrator of the estate. It is therefore a proof of the appearance of the most magnificent development outside the city walls. Above the facade of the passage is in a niche a statue of St. Jan Nepomucký, below it the inscription and the emblem of the Villarsburgs.

Prohlídku Nového Města nad Metují budeme pokračovat v ulici Českých legií. Tam můžeme vidět městský dům zvaný Villarsburgův. Je to patrový samostatně stojící pozdně barokní dům. Přístavba dvorní části je z roku 1895. Jednalo se o předměstský dům pro správce panství. Je to tedy doklad podoby nejhonosnější zástavby vně hradeb města. Nad průčelím průjezdu je ve výklenku socha sv. Jana Nepomuckého, pod ní nápis a znak Villarsburgů.
