Photographer's Note

These horses lead a rather free life. They are domesticated, but they have never lived in stables. They roam frivolously around in the mountains, feeding on the grass that grows around. They mate freely controlled by the rules of life. Local people make them work from time to time - mainly in autumn time, when they carry wood for heating.

In my workshop you can see a mare with her foal running freely on the town road unattended.
