The Golden Rock, a photo from Dobrich, East

Photographer's Note

Tuylenovo is a village on the north Bulgarian Black Sea Coast - "Tyulen" means seal in Bulgarian, but seals hadn't been seen in the area since the 1980s. The rocky coast is a great area for photographs. The sunset is very nice because the center rock of the bay is shine in gold sunset light about 3 minutes after the surrounding rocks are already in shadows.

Hi Philip, I recognise the scene from your earlier images, but in very different light. They make an interesting exploration of the effect of light on an image. I like them all. Great how the tracks seem all to be pointing at the rock which has caught the sun before the rest. Nice work. Cheers, Steve

A perfect example that a centerd photo also can be very good. I like the light and the way the pipes lead the eye into the rock.
