Frog II, a photo from West-Vlaanderen, Flanders

Photographer's Note

A picture taken yesterday during my bicycle trip, on the edges of the canal.
These brown Frog its name in latino "Rana temporaria" life here in group, magnitude 12 cm total, with spread legs, have a lovely brown colour.
I have this frog taken with a telelens and used a tree as tripod.

I have this picture cropped to a better composition, as well as for greater to make.

I hope you enjoy it.

Een klaar scherp stukje natuur, John met diepe kleuren waarbij de kikker mooi contrasteerd in het groen met een goed weglopend DOF.

Dag John, mooie focus op de kikker. Is wel een grote zeg, heb ik in een hele tijd al niet meer gezien. Ik heb er onlangs nog een klein groentje gezien, maar die was te snel weg om een foto van te kunnen nemen. Daarom vind ik het ook zo leuk om deze van jou te zien. Heel goed genomen, goed scherp, mooie kleuren. Misschien beter gedecentraliseerd aan de andere zijde, maar met de natuur kun je niet doen wat je wil natuurlijk. Heel goed gedaan. Groetjes.

Hi John. I like the sharp focus and DOF on the frog and blurry elsewhere. The cropping is very good as are the colors. At least it was cooperative and stood still for you. Nice work John!

Wow, how sharply you have captured this frog John. It's so vivid it is like I can feel the bumps and moisture on the skin. And right here in the grass it looks very attractive. You really place us right there viewing this creature. And it's funny if you put a little of human looks into it it seems he's sort of watching you out of the corner of his eye thinking. Excellent job.
