Bruges
Today is Saturday a new rainy day in Bruges, the fourth Saturday in a row.
Maybe there are members who don't like this anymore, but Bruges is the city that people have never looked at. (At least not me)
I made several pictures but I was able to take these ten minutes after the rain.
Real Bruges pearls to look at.
Three pearls on the crown of the Burg
You can see everything on the photo
When you arrive at the square of the Burg you will see in the right corner in the corner the entrance to the Basilica of the Holy Blood, the town hall in front of you and the Brugse Vrije on the left there.
I hope you can enjoy my photo again.

Hello John,
The weather looks terrible, so it was quite heroic to manage a photo excursion on a day like this. But the city of course looks as good as ever, and the light and colours are very well handled. The women wearing raincoats in the foreground describe the weather situation perfectly and also add attractive colours to the photo.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hi John.
Even rain can’t stop your photographs look amazing. An excellent scene fron the old city showing us the square in a daily life motion. People seem enjoying the overcasting day, no reason for staying home.
Have a nice weekend!!!

Hallo John, that plazza in Bruges is soaked. The passersby wear parkas and rain coats to protect them against the rain and the cold. The town hall appears majestically in the bg, what a remarkable building. Fine colors, good sharpness, interesting photo note, regards.

Hi John
Great architecture and an attention grabber no wonder you couldn't resist taking this shot even in the rain and so too are those visitors as they enjoyed a visit to this handsome old square. Its full of rich colours, detail a plenty for the eye to hover around. A competent shot so well orgarnised, Congrats

Hi John
The rain kept the crowds away or else inside drinking beer. A good wet weather photo.

Goedemorgen John. Fijne dag, Bert.

Bonjour John,
I don't think it would be possible to tire of the buildings in Bruges for they are so beautiful and so diverse in their shapes and decoration. Even in the rain, Bruges square and the superb buildings, which you mention, look attractive!
The wet cobbles and the clothing of the figures, plus the dark sky, provide the mood. The people are important, for they animate the rainy day.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hallo John,

Dear John,
You portrayed very well, the situation, when the weather is shitty, but you are on the vacation, so you put your rubber coats on and go for sightseeing. :)
Nicely done!
Best Wishes,
Gy.

Hello John, I, for one never tire of seeing this beautiful city.
And even in the rain its' beauty still shines.
Somehow the grey, wet day emphasises the rooflines of the buildings and the dots of colour from the flags and the facades.
Brave people such as yourself braving the wet rainy day, add to the scene.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hello John,
Gee, Winter flew by so quickly, although if you're living in northwest or northern Europe, Spring cannot come fast enough! The bright blue and pink raincoats in the fg add a welcome splash of colour. Tfs!

Hi John
doesn't matter if its raining or not, these large open squares can make it look so inviting - especially to those like me who have never been here before. The buildings look almost TOO perfect, TOO pristine, its amazing how they look. I'd prefer them to be a little more run-down and beat up hahaha. Anyways, its a fine photo considering the poor conditions you faced, and the people look cold. cheers

Even the rain cannot disturb such a beautiful big lot in front of the exquisite architecture of Bruges, John.
The spearing turrets and the belfry stand tall above the houses around the square.
A nice take, one ,man was directly looking at you...
Good afternoon,

Hi John.
Great view of such a wonderful square, even with rain it is beautiful, the palace on the right looks opulent and ideal the line of small houses with their colors.
Sharpness, lighting, color, and the magnificent composition; they are all perfectly adjusted factors, in this beautiful image.
Well done I like very much.
You have a good day.
Very best regards.
Luis.
