Photographer's Note

View of the beach of Le Coq sur Mer at sunset by an icy wind. At the bottom of the picture, the city of Ostend from where stands the horrible Europa tower.
De Haan knew and, it is the only one on the small Belgian coast to have retained its old charm with its houses and hotels stlyle "thirties".
It is not for nothing that Albert Einstein spent several weeks of his life in an opulent house on the Avenue de Normandie.

Hi Phil.

This is a beautifully executed sunset. A blend of unique colour and warm light. The tower in the background is almost invisible, so it doesn't bother too much here. Thanks for sharing.

Great atmopsheric sunset picture, Phil. De Haan is a great place indeed. It is located in WEST-Vlaanderen, though, not in Oost-Vlaanderen.
