Summer is over, new colors appear, red, orange, Brown as for us comfort for the first chilly and foggy mornings.
The culture of the curcubitaces became fashionable in my region of Hesbaye. Not only in the gardens of the individuals but also entire fields.
During a walk in the neighborhood, I found this splendid garden in which the owner was working.

A real pleasure for the eyes.

Hello Patrick,
Indeed, a reminder that summer is truly over and autumn is here; it will soon be Christmas:-) These immense pumpkins add a fine splash of colour to their surroundings. I like the light and excellent colour contrasts. Perhaps some slight evidence of over-exposure around the wheelbarrow, but nothing to spoil our overall enjoyment.

A pumpkin is for life, not just for Halloween!!! Brilliant capture for its simplicity and the true colour of each subject. If the colour is anything to go on then these pumpkins should be magic. An eye-catching stuff indeed and wonderfully refreshing and pleasing shot so well presented, Congrats

Halo effect: You can view the haloish around the top edges of the building especially when you enlarge it greater than 100 percent. it's due to a strongly lit area exciting its less well lit neighbours. The only easy remedy I have tried is to lessen the exposure which carries with it. Secondly its' due to over sharpening if you go a little bit too far you end up with a white halo. Hope this explains. Tx once again.

It is pumpkin season here, too -- people are picking the last of the season's squash-type foods. Many can be put on a shelf for months, to be cooked during the winter!

Les citrouilles aident au cadrage du jardin. La prise de vue permet de voir les dйtails et les couleurs du jardin. La bonne luminositй donne de belles teintes aux couleurs de l'image. Bonne soirйe.

Bonjour Patrick,
En effet, c'est la saison des citrouilles et de la rйcolte de tous les autres fruits et lйgumes а mettre а l'abri pour l'hiver !
Je suis d'accord avec toi que ce jardin est un vrai rйgal pour les yeux, pour la cuisiniиre et pou les convives qui en profitent :)
J'aime bien l'arrangement des citrouilles sur la pelouse et la prйsence de la brouette remplie des fanes, qui montre bien que le jardinier vient de terminer sa rйcolte.
Les citrouilles sont un peu surexposйes, mais la photo reste bien agrйable а regarder.
