2020. I took this photo yesterday afternoon, with more than 30°Celsius the most warmest September 14 in the history.

SINT WINTENS CHURCH

The church was rebuilt in the Gothic style in the 13th century. Here too, the Geuzen paid a visit to the church, which meant that renovation work had to be carried out in the 17th century. The last destruction was also the worst and happened at the end of World War II. Retreating German soldiers placed 2500 kg of dynamite in the tower which caused the tower to collapse, destroying almost the entire church. Between 1952 and 1954, the church was rebuilt in its former state. A lot of beautiful things were destroyed by the German jumping equipment, yet some things survived the destruction. Let's just say go and see

Hallo John,
Een prachtige zonnige dag, warm, maar toch zijn er al wel wat herfstige tinten in de bomen te zien. De stompe kerktoren steekt er mooi bovenuit en de oranje daken zijn nog net tussen het groen te zien. De koeien op de voorgrond zijn ook een goede toevoeging.

Dobro pokazano sa lepim bojama, kontrastom, perspektivom i dobrim tekstom. Dobar trenutak sa kravama na polju.

Hallo John,
Een kerk met de typische vierkante toren zoals er heel wat zijn in je streek.
Mooie foto met de verschillende horizontale lagen achter elkaar: weiden, meer weiden, velden, bomen en huizen met de kerk.
Vermits je in een heel vlakke streek woont, vraag ik me af of je een verhoogde plaats moest zoeken om het landschap op deze manier te kunnen fotograferen.
Het droge weer heeft voor bruinere tinten gezorgd.

This is a beautiful view of the church, surrounded by the many trees and the red roofs of the villas. The cows grazing on the green and yellow fields are very nice and create a fine atmosphere. You had a wonderful light.

Hallo John, the photo is divided in different layers : the sky, the village, the corn field and the pastures. Some cows are grazing in the foreground and they contribute to immerse the website viewers in a rural atmosphere. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.

Hi John,
beautiful composition with the rural scene in the foreground and an attractive church emerging from between dense vegetation.
The cattle adds some life and interest to the scene.

Hello John,

To destroy a church, which has survived the bombing, is just vandalism! It must have been a big job to completely rebuild it after the war!
However, it looks as if it has been there forever, fitting neatly into the rural landscape.
You have shown us a very calm, bucolic scene. Grazing cows create that sort of effect, especially when featured in this warm, welcoming setting!
As always, the details are very well exposed and the colours natural.

A beautiful country landscape I truly adore with the sight of this church. I don't mind paying to visit this church for the needed renovation. As already seen in this picture, the works have brought back the glory of this church.
It does looks very hot in the scene. And again I hope that we don't have this weather in the winter :-)

There's a sense of peacefulness, so pastoral with lush greenery and the cows are well included. The pov reveals the architectural beauty of a well restored church to its former glory as we can enjoy the detail, colours from this focal length. Contrast to blue sky cant be better than this.
