The weather didn't do you any favours, but you have captured the colour and detail in the lovely architecture very well indeed. The people add vitality to the scene with cyclist nicely juxtapositioned with the little group in the background. Happy New Year 2013 to you!

Sharpness, exposure, colors, vertical format, black borders, chosen pov and composition are all excellent photo qualities that really pleased me!
It was a grey cloudy day but you were fortunate to have some people in the streets to make this image a bit livelier!

Hi Gosia,

The weather was obviously not the best, but you mangaged to take an excellent photo anyway. The inclusion of the cyclist is really great and makes the scene very vivid. The vertical format with the tall brick building very well postioned also contribute to the attractivenss of the scene. TFS and Happy New Year!

j'aime beaucoup le cadrage et le rendu de ta photo, on a l'impression avec cette route pavée, cette cycliste d'être retournée quelques années en arrière; du moins les couleurs de pierre de l'église et de la maison en briques donnent un effet rétro

I think the title is apt, an interesting quick shot focuses your attention on the main interest, almost the best composition and lighting you could hope for in this situation with mix of slight warm light in muddy colors give it real atmosphere. Good dynamism and sense of movement as the biker is vital enhances the picture. This indeed looks moody scene. Congrats

Very nice shot. For sure for showing the specific architectur of Bruges, but also and for a big part for the bicycle in the start of the frame and giving dynamism to the view, naturally pushing the look to go deeper to read the shot.

I don't know if it is possible for anyone to confuse this city with another one, but as soon as I lay my eyes on the vignette, I knew where you were.

I don't know if it is the colours, the light, the darkish sky or the post-processing, but there is something nostalgic and timeless about your photo.

Excellent angle to create a nice perspective and to get a splendid view of these convergent streets and the buildings of different characters. Good timing to introduce the cyclist in the frame, leading our eyes in the composition. Vertical format suits the scene perfectly.
