2017 Ursel Air-show

Yesterday, on the actual date of Ursel Avia 2020, a date was set for 2021!
Covid-19 was the bummer!
On Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 July 2021, you are all welcome to UA2020 "version 2021"!
Saturday Open Cockpit afternoon, Sunday International Air Show!
By the way, we keep the name, the unique concept, the themes,…! As far as possible, the already announced participants for UA2020 will also be re-established in 2021.
Tickets will be available from September this year.
We would like to add that our flight club Ursel organization team is MORE THAN EVER motivated to make Ursel Avia a wonderful event at the beautiful airport of Ursel!
The airport is 65 years old this year. Since and THANKS TO the construction of this military airfield, a unique environment has been created. The "flying square" is something the people of Ursel are very proud of!

Hallo John,
Het lijkt me dat je wel heel dicht bij de opstijgende of dalende vliegtuigen kon komen.
Werd je niet uitgenodigd voor een korte vlucht?
Ik kan het niet goed zien maar het lijkt alsof er achter de piloot passagiers zitten.
Knappe heldere en scherpe voorstelling in een mooi natuurlijk kader.

Hello John,
There is a lot of horse power in a machine like this, but the real horses pulling carts that you sometimes show are nicer. But it must have been exciting to come so close to this little airplane. It's a nice and sharp photo with fine contrasts between the green background and the yellow field.

Een uitstekende foto van dit gevechtsvliegtuig in het gelige veld en voor de groene bomen. De zilveren kleuren maken een mooi contrast met de omgeving en het zonlicht was aangenaam.

Hallo John, it is a collector's airplane. It was used during the second world war. It is in good state and nowadays it is exhibited in air shows. It can receive only one passenger I think. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.

Hi John,
Excellent view of this WWII era classic aircraft. Not one of the most powerful models I guess. I like the white and red stripes on the propeller blades. Little airfield between fields is special too.

Goof afternoon John,
A wonderful takre upon this aircraft. I assume this was after it landed on the strip, as I see the position of the flaps, fully extract. I tried to find info on the web according to its military registration 863, than saw what Pierre written - and indede it is a T-28B Trojan plane.

Hi John,
I am sorry to hear that the show was postponed. So pity this year so many events have been cancelled.
This is a lovely plane capture. Being on the ground yet it is so sharp but we see the engine part being in motion.
Nice reportage from this interesting event. We have similar ones in North England as well with the old planes flying around.

That must a veteran of WW2 which is nicely restored and pleasantly detailed which lends a tremendous lift against the setting. That all important prop blur is there timely taken showing the dynamics. Wonderful take and tfs
