Photographer's Note
Brest is one of the largest towns in Belarus and is one out of two cities in Belarus that's possible to visit by land without a visa. It's located only a few kilometers from the Polish border but is clearly different. It was also clear to see that it has a long and interesting history. The city is full of funny sculptures and has a cozy main street. The market is also worth the visit.rnrnBrest is a good starting point if you're heading east. The train station is impressive with its many tracks and majestic facade. There are direct trains all the way to Novosibirsk from here.rnrnOne of the views to admire in this city is the 150-year-old St. Simeon Cathedral.

Hello Fredrik, Was Belarus the new country for you? Brest is so close to Terespol in Poland, but it is not allowed to go on foot, you must take a bus or the train :(. Charming picture taken in the winter night.
Kind regards MAlgo
