Saalfelden am Steinernen Meer is a town in the district of Zell am See in the Austrian state of Salzburg. With approximately 16,000 inhabitants, Saalfelden is the district's largest town and the third of the federal state after Salzburg and Hallein.
Although the Saalfelden area has always been the most populous of the historic Pinzgau region, the seat of the district administration is situated in the neighbouring town of Zell am See.

Another wonderful mountain landscape with very vivid colours and a bright sunlight. Excellent and well-balanced composition, the clouds around the mountain peaks look really beautiful too.

Il est vraiment magnifique ce paysage de montagne. Le vert а l'avant plan est magnifique et la contre plongйe nous fait parfaitement suivre la ligne du terrain qui monte vers le blanc des montagnes. Quel beau ciel.

Avec la neige au sommet de la montagne quel dйcor et vue quel nuage qui continue а suive et le sommet et la neige les rpsй vert en fond la petite cabane de bois ce poteau quelle vue.

Hello Mike,

This fine, diagonal composition emphasises the contrasts between rugged mountains and grassy pasture, not only in colours but in textures, too.
The tiny chalet makes a good focal point and helps to gauge the scale of the surrounding features.
