Photographer's Note

Vlorл is the second largest port city of Albania, with a population of 79,948. It is the first capital of Albania and the city where the Albanian Declaration of Independence was proclaimed on November 28, 1912.

Founded as an ancient Greek colony in the 6th century BC by the name of Aulon, Vlorл has been continuously inhabited for about 26 centuries.

Hello Ardi,

Technical a very well picture I like the composition with sea and city to the right side.
A wonderful panoramic view about the green area and the lake.
Excellent composition nice presentation too.

Beautiful view from higher elevation over a coastal town, stunning blue sea and fine clear photo.
Bright daylight was very favorable, you managed to take this advantage superbly.
We do not get amny pictures frokm Albania, a nice contribution to TE.

you have a wonderful point of view to capture this scene, couldn't have chosen a better one.

and i like the addition of the single large ship on the left, it works well to draw our attention to that side of the scene and for counter-balance.

However the lighting is quite harsh, maybe it was the time of day, probably mid-day light/sun?

I don't think there's much you could have done to be honest, but its got that hot white appearance. Too bad there weren't any clouds in the sky to buffer it a bit.
