Photographer's Note

After photos of caterpillars and grasshoppers, another animal that very rarely is shown here on TE: the crab.

From Wikipedia:
Crabs are decapod crustaceans of the infraorder Brachyura, which typically have a very short projecting "tail" (abdomen), usually hidden entirely under the thorax. They live in all the world's oceans, in fresh water, and on land, are generally covered with a thick exoskeleton, and have a single pair of pincers.

This explanation is a bit ignotum per ignotum :). But everybody knows what crab is.

I find them fascinating creatures. I like observing them when they move "by side". But taking photos is not easy - they run away very quickly (see WS 1) and hide in the holes(see WS 2) on the beach.
