She was in deep thought on her boat which is also a market stall along Thu Bon river in Hoi An. A well earned relaxation I think for this river vendor who seemed to be in a world of her own and didn't seem a bit concerned about all the activity around her...

The warm sunlight was wonderful here and as it came from the side it adds such a beautiful warm hue to one side of the vendor. The blue clothes add a nice colour contrast as well.

A classic portrait from Hoi An. I took several similar ones and have just realised that I posted all my photos in a Hoi An folder under Da Nang province - I must move them to the correct folder.

Hello Abmdsudi,

This is a really well taken portrait.
Not only have you placed the lady strongly in the frame but have focussed sharply on her, whilst the b/g is usefully blurred.
The lighting is superb!
There are subtle hints of sunlight on her face, her hat and her hand, linking together these features down the left side.
