Photographer's Note
This photograph was taken in Hoi An located in Central Vietnam. This lady was working outside a makeshift bike repair shop. Vietnamese main mode of transport is the bicycle. One of the highlights of my travels to Vietnam was cycling along the country side with locals coming up to greet me.

Super shot. This is so typical of what you see in Vietnam - people working outside repairing anything and everything. If there was one shot that sums up Vietnam for me, this would be it. It is also very well composed and pin-sharp

Hello Spiros. "Vietnames Tune Up" is a beautiful and worth seeing picture from the world of the work. One could also say: Even is the man/woman. The proximity to the motive pleases me (see Capa). The composition is outstanding. It contains really only the important. A good snapshot and a beautiful picture. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Very funny scene Spiros,
I guess she could work for cycling champions.
The bike is in good hands, she seems very concentrated.
Good color tones, rgs

The intense expression in her eyes has been caught well by you Spiros and so is the action as she bends into what she's doing. The lights are well spread out and the colours are subtle and natural. Moreover you've got a good pov and have made good use of the dof.

Another great picture Spiros! I like very much the composition with the wheel in the center, it gives wholeness to it. Love the beautiful colours and the way you captured this daily life scene of Vietnam. Good stuff!

Hi Spiros,
A very nice scene, I enjoy here your processing and the very attractive rendering of the colors, plus the close framing works very well in focusing the viewer's attention to the ongoing action, very nice photo !
Have a nice day,
JEan-Yves
