Photographer's Note
It was a delight to discouver this vietnamese historial merchant city at the early morning when its inhabitants are starting to hit the streets and turists are still scarce.
I was enchanted by the old colonial houses, covered bridges, temples and narrow streets like the one photographed here.

Bonjour Flavia,
J'aime bien la texture du mur qui rappelle la couleur du chapeau du cycliste le tout sur un ensemble presque désaturé.
Cadrage interessant également.

Hi Flavia,
A super shot really, not only for it's flavour of Vietnam (one of my favourite countries), but also for the way the light and shades from the wires mesh together in this scene. Really great.
Cheers

hello Flavia
Great play with the shadows on the wall. The girl riding into the scene is perfectly placed, the bike and the conical hat provide the Vietnamese coleur locale. Great picture, thanks for sharing it.

Hello Flavia,
Great mood and atmosphere! The viewer gets a nice sense of the surrondings by the shadows cast against the brightly lit wall. There is a nice subtle tilt on the left as well, which enhances the motion and movement of the scene. Well done!

Olá Flavia!
Gosto da foto e da forma como ela representa tão bem o Vietname! - o chapéu, a bicicleta, a confusão de fios electricos... Gosto muito do enquadramento com aquelas sombras da parede! Bem captada!

Hello Flavia,
You have successfully managed to avoid the pretty and touristic side of Hoi An with this expressive composition. Against the dirty and faded wall we see the shadows of poles and wires which are so typical of any Vietnamese city. The woman's conical hat is another strong signal, and its colour also matches those of the wall very well.
Regards,
Gert

Hi Flavia
what i really like about this scene is how the brown/tan color of the hat is also conveyed onto the wall.
and the fact we can't see the person's face makes it a little bit of a mysterious photo too.
well shot
cheers

Hi Flavia
Excellent daily street shot in minimal colors, precisely timed and finely composed and exposed dynamic shot. The projected shadows, warm light and the conical hat are strong elements uplifting this shot. Fine candid, Congrats.
Kind regards
