Having many photos of this event, and seeing the success of my collage with the soups, I thought of doing another with different moments from the party of lights in Samarkand. The show has no fixed dates, but is carried out when a good group of tourists pay to see it. Obviously I was not among these and I could observe it from the terrace overlooking Registan, from which there is also a better view. The show is really impressive, takes about 40 minutes and tells the whole story of Uzbekistan, from the time of the Silk Road to independence from the Soviet Union. It's done really well and the atmosphere of the architectures on which it is projected in increases the charm. Two other photos in the WS.

SPETTACOLO DI LUCI A SAMARCANDA

Avendo molte foto di questo evento, e visto il successo che ha avuto il mio collage con le zuppe, ho pensato di farne un altro con diversi momenti dalla festa delle luci di Samarcanda. Lo spettacolo non ha date fisse, ma viene effettuato quando un buon gruppo di turisti paga per vederlo. Ovviamente io non ero tra questi ed ho potuto osservarlo dalla terrazza sovrastante il Registan, da cui si ha anche una vista migliore. Lo spettacolo и davvero impressionante, dura circa 40 minuti e narra tutta la storia dell' Uzbekistan, dai tempi della via della seta fino all'indipendenza dalla Unione Sovietica. E' fatto davvero bene e l'atmosfera delle architetture su cui viene proiettato nel aumenta il fascino. Due altre foto nel WS.

Ciao Luciano, The collages have become popular recently, haha. And it is a great idea in a situation like this where you can easily compare the different views without looking in WS or waiting for another day for the next picture. I am sure it was a fantastic spectacle, attractive for the eyes and educational as well. Wonderful colours and great sharpness in the night pictures.

Very attractive photos in the same fantastic location but all with different characters and different colours. They are all perfectly exposed, well enough so I can see that there is a sizable crowd standing in the darkness.

Quite a spectacle! Four pictures in one give a quick idea how colourful and variable this show is. And all the better when it tells a story. Stil I think workshops are even better, allowing us to see small details too.

The laser light shows I saw at Giza and Karnak were equally impressive. Wonderful colour and saturation with each image conveying a different mood. Good shadow details where we can discern the appreciative fg crowds. Tfs!

this angle is very nice and have a nice visual impact with the shapes of the place in different colors. I suppose a closer view as that shown in WS would be very interesting too.

Great idea to use the Mosque for the light-up showing object. I visited many Moaque in many Islamic countries but this is the first time to see such fantatsic exhibition, so mysterious at all.

I suppose it is an extra event to better spent time in a place like this, to diversify attractions. I sort of prefer a simple illumination to capture the view more naturally. Having said that I have also recently presented a photo from the fireworks display in Disneyland :)

Amazing place I would love to visit it someday. In each picture the scene looks so very different!

Luciano, the light show gives a futuristic side to the ancient madrassa. Successful collage where the monuments change colors. The show should be both rewarding and spectacular. Good image quality and excellent light management, interesting photo note, regards.
