Silkroad travel from Toshkent to Kashgar: Samarqand

Samarqand is a pulsating city with an University. The architectural gems, the archaeological sites and all the mausoleums are enbedded in the city.

Market scene. Colorful dresses are much in demand. So are, according to Natalya Pak (nata), the "kurpachas" on the left side, the traditional matresses, since people use them in many ways.

Hi Dietrich,
nice capture of every day life. I like you included "kurpachas" on the left side of your shot, the traditional matresses, that are even in more demand, since people can use them for hundred purposes.
