Photographer's Note
The dome and minaret of Gur-e Amir which is the mausoleum of 15th century built by Tamerlane. Everywhere in Samarqand I was under impression of the combination of blue (symbolizing a water) and yellow (sand) mosaics backgrounding by the sky. I used the circular polarizer to highlight the sky color.

Very nice colors and information.The axis of the mausoleum does not look upright position.

Hi Denis, although the dome looks a bit tilted the colours are nice and also the details one can see are great! Samarkand seems to be a very interesting place to visit and if all buildings are that colourful it seems also a great place for photography. The only thing I would have changed is maybe have given this photo a dark blue frame to enhance the blue colours of the dome. Best regards!
