Photographer's Note
Still with the Hua Hin fisherman in the early morning. One of them sets out for a days work against the morning sun.
I left the furled beach umbrella for context and frame, showing a hint of the other aspect of the town, before the day began on the beach.
It's a long time since I looked to my bookshelves for a title.
Thanks for the tip Kaj, certainly better cropping tighter on the umbrella, and not having any sea to the left of it. Do you still think it's better without it altogether?

hi richard,
i think this photo wouldnt be weaker in you croped the umbrella on the left hand side, and a bit of the sky on the top.
otherwise - very interesting romantic photo,

I like the framing this way, Richard, having a bit of the umbrella at the left adds a foreground dimension and an "opener" to read the rest of the scene. Good wider-angle add to this morning series by the sea with some of the day's first fishing and boating activity picking up. In addition to the usual atmospheric aspects I like in this one how the boat is just about to enter the reflected streak of sunlight on the water surface. Nice shot.

Hi Richard
Excellent graphism, colour, & sharpness, although I'd crop the oof umbrella. Marvellous silhouette of the fishing boat. Tfs!

Hi Richard
Very nice shot of the boat and reflections of the sun here, I think it would be best to eliminate the wood from the left handside, but thats me, well done though

Hi Richard,
It's a funny effect with sun above the frame makes reflections to the sea. Well placed boats. Rocks on the shore help to get idea how far the fishermen are.

HellO Richard
Very beautiful landscape,
I love the feeling of isolation given by the boat in the middle of the sea.
I perosnally would prefer if you cropped the umbrella out.

Daniel

Hi Richard...
pfff..sorry its taken so long to come and spend some time in your space.
I still think the umbrella does not add much here you know...I cannot say it really gives anything to the overall scene, except to say maybe, there is a closed umbrella next to you...
I think the beauty is really in that sillouhette(sp?)... and that gorgeous sky and sunset...
Anyhow, I know how much you like the umbrella, so I tried a quick workshop with a few small changes...retaining the umbrealla of course!

Good evening Richard,
cropping the umbrella off would produce a nearly square-type foto; I would prefer here a more panorama-like format; but how to achieve without cropping essentials...
Thus... leave it as it is; I like the reflected sky with the colorful sun and the silhouette of the fishing boat!

Knut

Hi Richard.
Very nice colours in this nice composition where the reflections of the rays of light make a very nice and touching moment.
Also good the ship, just in the right place and moment.
Well done.
