Photographer's Note
If you take the speed boat and you leave it at Memorial Bridge you're soon in China Town, at the market, or even in Little India. So I did.
Now I was waiting to take the boat for Wat Po.
I really enjoy to go by boat on the Chao Phraya River.

Interesting shot, Nino. Vivid colors and a good use of the bridge as a framing device towards the background. Of course the monk with the orange robe is the surprising and welcome add for this one. Composition-wise it might have been nice to have the full top of the bridge inside the frame but then again it's information that can easily be substituted by the viewer's brain ;p

Hi Nino
Interesting picture. I love the contrast between the urban bridge and highly polluted water of the river (when I was on the boat, I was pretty scared of falling into it...), and the monk, who seems to come out of nowhere. Good framing.
Thanks for sharing and reminding me the good times in Bangkok ;o)

Hi Nino,
Excellent composition, the monk is indeed the catalyst in this picture. I can almost pickout a Wat in the BG.

I enjoy this improbable monk in this industrial and urban place. Strange and strong contrast in a beautiful light.

Guten Tag Nino
Good catch of the monk in his orange saffron robe, to add an interesting human element to this image. Good pov & sharpness. TfS!

Ciao Nino, I like very much the construction of this one, the differents diagonals along with the color of the water are great... The monkis essential here I think, one more monk on the bridge and you would have a stunning picture, well seen I like...
Wish you a nice week-end

I quite agree about the boat trip, and I like the way you've caught just teh monk on the landing stage here, thougha pity you weren't a bitter quicker, to catch the train of barges approaching the bridge.
