The flat Thale Noi wetland sanctuary has a lot of man made water pools near to the elevated Thale Noi - Ranot highway to give the water birds a natural place to rest and hunt and at the same time the visitors a change to stop at the roadside and observe the water birds. These two Cormorants were sitting there by the water since some time till suddenly a third one arrived and it looked like, that they would communicate or perhaps gossip till the new arrival would take off again direction to the next water pool.

Hello Urs,

Twenty year ago found one never a cormorant here in our region, now this is the fright of the fish clubs.
Nice picture with open wings against the water, but also a nice green grass in foreground
Excellent composition, nice captured.
