Photographer's Note

This is taken from Wat Arun... The climb up there is quite steep, and the way down is rather uneasy! Anyway, there is a good view on the Royal Palace and the Tha Thien pier, where the ferry-boat station is to cross the Chao Praya river in order to go to the famous Wat Arun, aka The Temple of Dawn. I just kept a bit of one of the smaller Prang to frame the side....

Une photo prise depuis le Wat Arun... la montйe est vraiment raide et la descente est encore pire! Mais on y a une bonne vue sur Bangkok, notamment sur le Palais Royal, et le quai Tha Thien, depuis lequel on prend le fery pour aller au fameux temple Arun, aussi connu sous le nom de Temple de l'Aube...
J'ai gardй une partie d'un des petits "prangs" (tours) pour border le cфtй....

Un bon pdv pour nous faire dйcouvrir la rive d'en face(je reconnais notre petit bar ;) oщ le mйlange d'architecture se dйtache bien sur le ciel bleu.
J'aime bien le fait que tu aies inclus une partie d'une des tours donnant ainsi de la profondeur а l'image.

That's a good idea to photograph the old royal palace, perfectly framed and executed with high sharpness and vibrant colors. A very attractive late afternoon shot. Well done.

j'aime surtout ici la beautй de la lumiиre et des couleurs,qui font ressortir les dйtails de l'architecture!Je n me rappelais plus que le Wat Phra Kaew faisait partie du palais royal,il est magnifique de ce POV oщ on le voit qui domine la ville!J'aime bien la petite tour que tu as incluse dans le cadrage,elle donne de la profondeur tout en montrant un autre style d'architecture!

Merci pour cette photo qui me rappelle tant de souvenirs.
Par contre lors de mon passage le montйe du Wat Arun n'йtait pas possible et le ciel bleu йtait rare.

Cela valait le coup finalement de crapahuter jusque lа-haut la vue est superbe d'autant que tu avais une belle lumiиre lors de cette journйe. Non seulement ce bout de tour finement ciselйe habille l'image mais apporte un bonne profondeur а l'image. Joli et intйressant panorama, merci Laurent.

A very different POV, which I never seen before! Good depth as we see the palace in the BG. Good idea of framing the picture with a prang on the left...allows us to see details & also providing depth. Well done!
