Photographer's Note

At the southern end of the village Thale Noi there is new highway, an elevated road, build across parts of the Thale Noi lagoon Wildfowl Reserve and connecting to the even bigger Thale Luang lagoon nearer to the Golf of Thailand. At the border of the Thale Noi wetland there are many irrigation canals where fishermen live in simple timber houses with huge fishing nets.

A well composed picture,with an especially pleasant sky.
The net across the canal looks very flimsy, and I admire anyone who has to work with it. The picture gives the impression of large `nasties` in the muddy water.

nice the view as the presentation of this 'fishing corner' with the red net to creates a specific reflections on the calmy surface of the waters.I like the beautiful scene as the excellent light management.

That sky is rally rather beautiful and engenders a particular mood. The large net set against the green trees and reflected clouds makes an effective focal point.

I like the fluffy clouds and the big sky. The reflections off the water are very pleasant, though I would like to see the reflection of the tip of the tree included.

The introductory note is quite interesting, thanks for sharing it. Peace is the word that springs to mind when I look at this. The stillness of water and the hugh sky hold the focus of attention with the distinctly unique stunning vivid red fishing net. Very well composed canal scene your viewpoint so carefully chosen and I think you have brought out the best of the colours and clarity of a very interesting local subject & way of life to earn their livelihood.
