Photographer's Note

The sunset in Koh Lanta is said to be one of the most beautiful of its' kind in Thailand. And even though we were there in August during the rainy months we were lucky to have days filled with sunshine giving us the chance to enjoy this wonderful scene every evening as the sun was setting over the beach and sea.

Hi Maria. beautiful sunset photo. a lower point of view might have worked better, to user more the ilhouette. currently, the horizon line "cuts" the man's head. But beautiful tones. What's the pink dot just below the silhouette?

Do you know how cold it is here, Maria? This is a shot to make me so jealous. How I wish, how I wish... Sometimes I'm homesick for holidays.

Great picture, brilliant sunset colours, the one person standing is almost like a statue.

Excellent photo and splendid timing. I think one minutes later sunlight was too strong and one minutes before you cannot get such a marvelous graduation in the sky. Perfect photo I am sure.

hi Maria,
the colours are absolutely magnificient, like liquid gold and amber, and I like a lot the inverted exclamation mark of the sun, that's exactly the emotion this shot evokes. including the silhouette of the person was a very smart idea, but I have to agree that it would be better if the horizon did not cut through the head. also, there's rather heavy tilt that spoils a little the overall effect.
