It's not everyday you're above the clouds....
This was taken near the summit of Doi Inthanon 2500 m asl, out of Chiang Mai as the sun was setting behind the grand Naphamethinidon stupa - built to honour The King and Queen of Thailand.

Setting: 86 mm, 1/100 sec, F11, ISO Raw 200, 1834 hrs & polarised

A delightfully atmospheric composition. Very well composed with the stupa ideally positioned in the frame. Perfectly exposed to capture the mood and the nuanced tones in the backlit sky. I enjoyed my stay in Chiang Mai, a very pleasant break after the hustle and bustle of Bangkok.

A gorgeous sunset with striking warm cold color contrasts between the orange and blue parts of the sky. The pagoda at right anchors the shot. Good sharpness and framing. Tfs!

Wow, a gorgeous sky again, the light is wonderful and illuminated the wonderful shapes of the clouds so beautifully and added some great colours. The silhouette of the tower is a perfect addition to the composition.
