Photographer's Note
After spending a long day cooking food on a the street, this woman pedals her place of business home, probably to prepare more food at home.
Since I was trying to capture a motor scooter laden with four family members, I had to set a fast shutter speed for sharpness,

Hello Pat
You captured a everyday life scene well. Food peddlars work hard for their money and we salute them for bringing food to the streets. Yes her face showed how weary she was from a hard day's work.

Hello Pat,
A lot of effort every day for this woman to earn her life... A nice picture of street where the focus is very good giving a good depth to the image. Well done Pat.
With all my friendships of Versailles, where it is very hot since two days and see you soon,

namaste Pat,
what a brilliant daily life shot. Love the mood here. Love the expression she has in her face. You presented it very well with shallow DOF. like the blurred background. Great shot indeed. Tfs.
Best wishes.

Hi Pat,
I can understnad this lady feeling, it was hot, hard day selling food, paddling home is just so tire. Anyway, bring back much memories for me, as a child I love street food and has been street food seller myself, though just in front of our house, so didn't have to paddle to far, just pushed the card outside. mostly candies and breads.

Hello Pat,
Yes you are right she looks tired and her expression is well recorded!
The narrow DoF isolates the woman on the bike well from the background, as you say as a result of the fast shutter speed...
This is a fine documentary of daily life!

Hello Pat!
I learnt from your Thailand 'trip' in the threads with Kath in PF! I was also happy to note that Larry has responded very well to the treatment there. Our prayers are with you always!
Nice street shot & judicious use of fast shutter speed. The speed ensured wide aperture which effectively blurs out the BG
Take care & Best Regards

Bonjour Pat,
Profondeur de champ bien calculée donnant du relief à l'avant plan, le détachant bien du reste. Couleurs et lumières naturelles, belle fresque de la vie quotidienne modeste et humble, sans doute pas la plus mauvaise.
Mes compliments.
Daniel.
