Old Man in the Pool, a photo from Bangkok, Central

Photographer's Note

Sitting in my 23rd floor hotel room of the Sheraton Bangkok (Thailand) I looked out the window to the pool below and saw an old man swimming, very slowly, in the hotel pool below.

So what should I do? ... Take a picture and post it on TE of course!

Long distance vertical photos - looking downwards - are always a challenge.

But I think worth having a go - as sometimes you do capture unusual moments like an old man swimming or a random woman sleeping on a deck chair.

Hi Russel, I love this POV. The colour is really attractive and I like the fella swimming in the pool. The only thing that worries me is the bloke with his head cut off at the top of the frame, but maybe you didn;t like him and intended to do it :) Great work, TFS and have a great week, Lisa.
