The villages in Sri Lanka are lively, chaotic and peaceful at the same time.
They are not really beautiful but colorful and interesting.
Here you see Norwood in the central Mountains.

Hello Gerrit,
Looking at this picture I fully agree with your note: "not really beautiful but colorful and interesting". There are lots of things to watch, among the architecture, crowds and wires. The strong tropical sun is clearly present even on this cloudy day. If the towns and villages of the region are not so pretty, the rural sceneries are often breathtaking, as far as I remember from my only visit.

I like when there is sunlight and dark threatening skies at the same time, it brings nice contrast to the picture... Simple but evocative street view with excellent general quality.

Hallo Gerrit,
De foto toont niet echt iets speciaals maar is toch wel een mooie getuigenis van het dagdagelijkse leven. Een beetje chaotisch, zeker en vast kleurrijk. De foto is heel gedetailleerd. Er valt veel op te zien. Veel publiciteitsborden ook. Uitzonderlijk veel voor een dorp. Waarschijnlijk is dit de hoofdstraat.
De foto heeft een evenwichtige samenstelling, een goed perspectief en is ook goed belicht.
