Hello Sergey,
welcome to TE!
I've never seen a solar eclipse. The sun becomes that black? woooo, impressive!!! I like how you leave so much space for the sky becuase the color of the sky is really beautiful and it leaves only the beautiful landscape at the bottom. You still respect the thirds rule because of the different blue tones in the sky and because of the eclipse. REally beautiful!!

Hello Sergey, welcome to TE. This is a very nice and impressive photo, as Manamo I've never seen a solar eclipse too. I like the framing which includes the mountains in the picture.

Not the usual shot of just the sun, this is far better, giving scale and landscape effect
Very well done

Sergey,
This is an impressive shot. I'm glad you captured the dark blue sky during the eclipse, a shade of the sky we don't see much other than when there's an eclipse.
Thanks,
Erdem

Privet sergey,
The shot is really cool. Just wish there were less space between mountains and the sun, but it is impossible.
Thanks for sharing.

When I saw the thumbnail for this I was really excited, as I'd watched a sunset total eclipse in the desert a few years ago.
This, however, is a terribly disappointing fake.
1) Look at the shadows on the mountains - they're not coming from anywhere near the direction of the sun.
2) During the moment of totality, the entire sky is dark but for a band of light across the horizon.
3) The mountains in this photo are in broad sunlight.
4) The black shade in the moon is ten times darker than any other shadow in this image. In reality the dark circle is no darker than any other shadow in the landscape.
5) The rays of sunlight look nothing remotely like these in a real eclipse. The longer the exposure the broader and softer the rays become. During a shorter exposure the land becomes extremely dark as the camera compensates for the light in the sky.
Serge I'm sure we'd rather see an untouched picture, even if it's of a lesser quality, than this. I don't mean to sound nasty but TE is about sharing the world as it is, not doing this stuff.

Classic case of digital solar eclipse (when there is a light that is too dark it burns itself out to a black image on digital cameras)... amazing that so many people believe you and think this is a true case of solar eclipse!
Nice composition nevertheless!

Good sky gradiant. The mountains give a very good depth of field.

Must be very special to see this wonder of nature.
You captured it in a beautiful composition.
I myself went to the eclips of 11 august 1999 in the north of France. Thick clouds disturbed the feast!

This photo is so fake that anybody should see it at the first glance. During total eclipse of the sun it becomes dark almost like nighttime. In this picture you can see the sunlight all over the ground and shadows prove also that this picture is fake. Sorry Serg.
