Photographer's Note

Here I was in the middle of Cathedrals Square, at right it was the two bell towers I showed before, not visible here.
At left you can see Dormition of Mary Cathedral, built between 1475 an 1479 by an Italian architect based in the Vladimir cathedral, the same you saw some time ago here.
It was the main church in Russia, where the czars were crowned and where there was one of the most important icons of Mary. If you pay attention in the gate you will see a mural above it, that was the same I posted before showing a mural with a view of that icon. There are three other murals in the right side. The church was closed for religious purposes in 1918 and worked as a church again in 1990, but it is a museum too yet.
That building in the BG is a museum, if I am not wrong, it was the home of the main religious leader, the Moscow Patriarch.
