Photographer's Note
I follow the Moskva
Down to Gorky Park
Listening to the wind of change
An August summer night
Soldiers passing by
Listening to the wind of change
The world is closing in
Did you ever think
That we could be so close, like brothers
The future's in the air
I can feel it everywhere
Blowing with the wind of change
Take me to the magic of the moment
On a glory night
Where the children of tomorrow dream away
in the wind of change
Walking down the street
Distant memories
Are buried in the past forever
I follow the Moskva
Down to Gorky Park
Listening to the wind of change
lyrics from Wind of Change by Scorpions

Hello Basak,
The diagonal jet streams make these picture specially.
You took these picture in a park in Moscow, this is very far for these picture with black contrasts.
Excellent composition an nice presentation.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice week,
John.

Hello dear Basak, I know this song but I have never listened carefully to the words, well selected for the illustrations of Gorky Park. Beautiful these three dark silhouettes against the jets of water. Is someone making photos on the left? Now when I have everything ready for the trip, I count the days (four weeks :))

Hi Basak!
This is a good b&w! I like the silhouettes and the effect created by the water jets. Surely a very good composition!

Hello Basak
I love this! It's beautifully simple and graphic; the human presence is important, but silhouetted; the water-jets are striking. You've used quite a long focal-length lens to foreshorten perspective, which makes it look as if the figures are almost in the water. But I wonder if this is a quite severe crop from a larger original: it seems quite noisy (although some of the "noise" may be water droplets!), and the dark areas seem to have a slight white line or halo around them, as if you'd over-sharpened to compensate for the crop. But I'm probably wrong! Either way it's an eye-catching monochrome image.
Regards
Will
