Photographer's Note

One of the nicest churches of Moscow region, red-brick church of Smolensk icon of Our Lady in village Sofrino, was rised on 1691 by famous boyar Fyodor Saltykov. It was his manor's church. Today the manor is not saved and the only beautiful lake after the church is. Firstly the big temple (right) was built only and it was used as the belltower as well. Then, after two centures, the small belltower (left) was erected. The church was never closed, even in Soviet era. Hope you enjoy that.
