Reflections, they often produce a peculiar impact, they change the way world dimensions, they attract you into a world that rapidly changes with every step you make. When beautiful nature and exquisite architecture come together in one reflection…

I took this shot a couple of days ago at the Clean Pond (Чистый пруд [CHIS-tiy prood]). This part of Moscow (Basmanny District) is a photographer’s heaven with a lot of houses dating back to decades and centuries.

Hello Ilgiz,
You did a great job capturing these reflections. They are so sharp and clear. As you wrote in your note, it is nice to have a combination of architecture and nature, and you divided them perfectly in this photo. The distortions are interesting, and we can still enjoy the architectural details.

Hello Ilgiz,
Very well observed: the combination of nature and beautiful architecture in one picture, in this case
in one reflection.
The difference of what is reflected, is nicely emphasized by a difference in colours.
While the reflected trees look more or less 'normal', the facade underwent a lot of distortions in its
reflected image. I really love these distorted shapes.
The architectural details alone are already worth a picture.

Hello Ilgiz - I like the clear divide between the "natural" and "man-made" in these crisp and clean reflections; they make an interesting juxtaposition. The primary colours of yellows and blues also add another layer of attractive contrast. Excellent and interesting shot. best regards Rosemary

A spectacular and very effective photograph. You've composed it masterfully. I like a lot the graphic result here. The two part window acts as a marvellous frame for a great visual effect and interesting shapes. Strange how the building gets distorted differently than the tree according to the window. A really good picture.
