Panagsama Beach, a photo from Cebu, Central Visayas

Photographer's Note

Panagsama Beach is a diving spot near Moalboal on the west coast of Cebu and contains a lot of dive resorts and restaurants.
The most famous visitor in the waters around this nice place is the whale shark, a huge and beautiful but harmless animal, that is seen often here.

Hello Gerrit,

How nice to see such tranquillity after the terrible scenes of devastation that we witnessed a relatively short time ago. Have the islands recovered?
I love the contrast between the rocky shoreline and the incoming sea. The playing children add to the peaceful innocence.
The light is soft and the composition well considered.

Your POV is nice here showing this rocky beach from a low perspective. The lighting is great and the photo has good sharpness and detail. The addition of the building on the left provides a nice point of interest for the scene.
