Photographer's Note
Ahhh - What happens if you need TV Cable repair? Can they tell which one is yours? Who ya gonna call? Actually many streets in Manila have this sort of electrical architecture … "a wonder in circuit design". I am not sure lines get fixed just perhaps restrung abandoning the old. Somehow it all seems to work - it think. drt100

Hi David
these scenes always bring a smile to my face, we just don't see such things in Canada and the US. But in asia its quite common. Not sure if this is an electricians worst nightmare of not, perhaps he could make alot of money in fixing the problem haha.
A very effective composition, highlighting the mess and while also including some posters. cheers

Hello David,
Wires usually spoil photos, but there are times like this when they actually make the photo. Most often we see these scenes in Asia. I could probably post a series of similar photos. I have already posted two or three. I think many of these wires are probably illegal private connections made by people to get electricity for free. It's a great idea to take a photo like this.
Regards,
Gert

Hello David,
This is not a pretty picture but, wow, it tells so much about the state of the electrics in this region.
It reminds me of a cartoon where, when it rained, everything sparked and flashed. I could so imagine that happening here.
It is a very observational photograph, giving sharp details of something we would not have imagined!
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hi David,
As a European it is so strange to see such mess of wires. Somehow they work, but I would imagine that things were easier if properly planned. You present this so well.

Hello David, I like that you have made this tangle of wires and cables the main subject of your picture, most of the time it is incidental to city scenes.
The background of buildings and posters provide a good splash of colour.
Good sharp quality.
Regards Jean.

I am totally surprise what I see.
What happens if you need TV Cable repair?
What with heavy shower with thunderstorm?
Pleasant to look at.
Very well done, TFS.

Hello David,
A scene that could also be in India.
But here it is a real tangle.
Attractive details of this picture are the beautiful red Chinese lanterns.
They ensure that the street scene is not only chaos but also contains beautiful elements.
Best regards, Paul
