Photographer's Note

Immediately after the earthqauke my assignment was on Pakistan Chaklala Airbase, where after every fifteen minutes helicopters were landing with survivors as well as dead bodies of the effeted people. I had Nikon coolpix and i didn't wanted these people to pose for me. I was taking seconds to capture the moments despite of the limitations of Nikon coolpix. I was not iterestred in taking long shots because of the technical limitations as well as my focus on the expression of the surivors and the activities to help them out in the fight of survival.
An earthquake evacuee is hepled drink before to be transferred to a shelter camp, at Chaklala Air Base. The death toll from South Asia's October 8 earthquake soared past 53,000 in pakistan and could rise still far higher as relief workers struggle to reach survivours.
I am not saying this is my best shot, but it is showing on of the thousand emotional moments where human beings were helping each other to survive.
