Hi Adam,
Great composition and lovely image.Shame the mountain range is over-exposed.The variety of colours of the childrens clothing adds character to the image.
I'll try and post a workshop later.

As you pointed out in yuor reply to the other David's critique above, Adam, a grad ND filter would have worked wonders here, but it's still an impressive photograph because it's well composed, with good depth, and captures the majesty of Annapurna together with the harsh reality of daily life in this part of Nepal. Cheers . . . David

Hello Adam,
This is a superb picture, in which you have captured the small group of local children -- just being children. The compositions is very good, and you've masterfully put the group of to one side, rather than in the middle. As two of the TE-subscribers have pointed out, Annapurna II appears overexposed, which a filter could have corrected in the photography phase. Also in Photo Shop you could very easily cut down the mountain range selectively. But the stark contrast does help to point out how high these mountains reach. The first and second cascade of mountains in the photo are well above what most people will see in real life, and the Annapurna towers dramatically above them. Regards from Virginia, Bulent
