Photographer's Note
Les sadhus coupent tout lien avec leur famille, ne possèdent rien ou peu de choses, s'habillent d'un longhi, d'une tunique, de couleur safran pour les shivaïtes, jaune ou blanche pour les vishnouites, symbolisant la sainteté, et parfois de quelques colliers. Ils n'ont pas de toit et passent leur vie à se déplacer sur les routes de l'Inde et du Népal, se nourrissant des dons des dévots.

This is a very effective portrait: I love the strong eye-contact. Your choice of monochrome is wise: as befits the portrait of a sadhu! Curiously my last posting is a b/w portrait taken in the Far East as well...

Good attempt and this will make a great capture. Imho this works better in vertical format to suit the subject matter with minimal background distraction. I find the softened - shallow dof bg still distracts and cluttering even with this mono conversion while you missed the eyes -being the most vital element in any portraiture thus without them the picture is lifeless!- shaded heavily by deep shadow. These are my honest critiques hope it's acceptable to you, nevertheless a nice shot. Congrats and tfs
