Photographer's Note

This Willys jeep is actually from WW2 remnants but still going strong as a public transport in Mandalay city, but good enough for running in Burma tough roads. This also brings home the risks that many people in some parts of the world have to take, just to get through the day. Unique in my eyes and a distinctive feature of traffic in this country.

I simply couldn't resist capturing this as a record shot, even though the lighting was rather harsh with hard shadow - on which I always try to avoid.

Setting: 18 mm, 1/500 sec, F5.6, ISO Raw 200, 1444 hrs and polarised

Lep pogled i tenutak, dobar tekst ...
Lep dzip sa mnogo putnika, dobro pokazano sa lepim bojama, kontrastom i uhvacenim trenutkom.
Mocan Willys, mnogo moze da ponese i izdrzi.
Lepa csena sa ulice.
Dobar rad, lepa fotografija.

Hi Abmdsudi,an example of how things were built to last a long time and not like modern things destined for rapid consumption. The old Jeep is almost 80 years old but still runs and does hard work, beautiful everyday life scene with very good quality despite the difficult light. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

A very curious image of daily transport in this part of the world, here everything is arranged so that more people can go, like that carpet on the hood of the vehicle, where one more boy goes, I can count up to ten people in that Jeep. Now with the Covid I do not know how to act.
The color and light management are magnificent, highlighting the beauty and clarity of the image.
