Photographer's Note

After 9 hours of plane, 12 hours in Colombo under the rain, after another 2 hours of plane to Malи, another 1 hour of elicopter, you arrive on a small paradise, you go in an overwater bungalow with a 360° view on a lagoon...then...what you can do?

A really relaxing atmosphere you have captured here. One can literally feel it!! I love the variety in the textures and colours as our eyes move upward and the walkway interrupt with a nice rhythmic tempo. Excellent shot and very well preserved!! All the best.

Were you still in the helicopter shooting her? Or were you flying of joy, seeing this Paradise after such an arduous trip?
Wherever you were, the shot is mouthwatering... I wish I were there... ahhh... here it has been the most terrible of weathers, dark and gray and cloudy and windy and snowy. This is just too much of a good thing here! And your shot is so clear, so perfect!

I love the woman right there in the clear water against the blue sky with the right touch of clouds. Technically speaking, this is a perfectly executed shot.

Asthetically speaking, the image has a sensual look to it that soothes the viewer. In fact, I'm ready to call my travel agent!

I saw this photo on the main page as part of the feature destination and I loved it from the moment I saw it. Lovely composition,very relaxing and dreamlike. I know that you must still have many feelings about the place. I can not move now out of obvuious reasons, but I can enjoy views from around the world thanks to photos like this.
